The domestic intelligence agencies at state and federal level present their annual reports every summer. For years, these reports have increasingly named Palestine solidarity groups and classified them as extremist \u2013 resulting in severe consequences.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ELSC is now supporting the groups Thawra Hamburg, BDS Berlin and Jewish Voice for a Just Peace in the Middle East in several legal proceedings as they challenge their classification as extremist by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in court. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At this info-event, the groups will talk about how the classification by the domestic intelligence services affects their political activities, why they\u2019ve decided to take legal action against it, share insights into their cases, and answer questions from the audience. Lawyer and ELSC partner Ammar Bustami, who represents the groups, will explain the legal framework and possible courses of action.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
