We’re taking legal action against the German Government
Help hold German officials accountable for enabling genocide in Gaza.
What’s happening?
Under the Justice and Accountability for Palestine Initiative, a coalition of lawyers, including the European Legal Support Center (ELSC), have submitted a 100-page criminal complaint to Germany’s Federal Prosecutor in Karlsruhe.
It names eleven high ranking officials of the former and current German government and CEOs of arms manufacturers, from Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, for aiding and abetting genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity through their approval of arms exports to Israel.

Why this matters right now
In 2023, Germany’s arms exports to Israel grew ten-fold – reaching €326.5 million. These included drones, warships, munitions, and Matador anti-tank launchers.
Meanwhile, German courts dismissed earlier challenges, claiming “no current deliveries” even as weapon flows continued.
If this goes unchallenged, Germany will remain complicit in genocide with impunity and will add yet another dark chapter in its history This case is a chance to challenge this complicity.
Why we need your support
Legal action at this scale is costly. We need to raise €10,000 to cover lawyer and court fees, expert evidence gathering, and visibility efforts like press conferences to break through political silence.
Your donation directly fuels the fight to:
Push German prosecutors to investigate their own leaders.
Expose how European governments are complicit in genocide.
Build international pressure to end arms sales to Israel and end the genocide.
With your support, we can show that no government is above the law.
